The Annual Net Zero Conference- the world’s largest net zero conference and expo brings together thought leaders and industry shapers in climate, carbon, energy, water, waste and transit to support the sustainability and building industries. This year, the completely-virtual conference will be hosted by 1% for the Planet member, Verdical Events, and will feature keynote speakers like two-time Green Party Vice Presidential Candidate Winona LaDuke (Honor the Earth) and student activists Jamie Margolin and Zanagee Artis (Zero Hour).

The conference will be completely online, and has been designed to give attendees an immersive experience that is comparative to an in-person event. Schneider Electric has donated the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) needed to offset 100% of laptop electricity use for conference attendees over the full month of September, making the conference Verdical Event’s first-ever carbon neutral event!

“The virtual Net Zero Conference is not your typical Zoom meeting. The virtual platform is designed to mimic the energy at the annual conference as closely as possible.”

Senior Events Manager Karen Young
