Reforestation with Community Values

GOBE, a 1% for the Planet business member offering camera accessories and photography prints gives back by planting trees for every purchase made. To do this, GOBE partners with Eden Reforestation Projects to plant trees in areas that need reforestation the most. All trees are planted by a team of local workers, providing employment opportunities to local communities.

To date, this partnership has planted over 2,525,730 trees across the globe.

In Chitwan National Park, a world heritage site in Nepal, tree planting sponsored by GOBE is protecting endangered species like the One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Gharial Crocodile while empowering local communities. By planting trees, communities have better access to clean water, increased agricultural production, and wildlife habitat restoration. Reforestation gives locals an opportunity to restore their land and build a sustainable future for generations to come.

The partnership between GOBE and Eden Reforestation Projects is using environmental stewardship to create a growing global impact empowering communities and protecting wildlife.
