Goodr gives back with literal trash

Plastic Trash gets a New Life

Goodr is known for their funky—and functional—sunglasses. And in 2020, they decided to combine their passion for protecting the planet and trend-setting sunglasses. So, they released a new pair of shades that are literally trash. The sunglasses are made from 100% recycled plastic sourced from facilities that collect single-use plastics and melt them into pellets. From there, the plastic makes its way into a sunglasses mold, and gets ready for its second life.

The sunglasses are packaged in a box made from recycled paper, come with a care instructions card that can be planted after use, —OH, and 100% of proceeds will go to 1% for the Planet.

Sporting the new sunglasses supports people, the planet, and of course Goodr’s CEO, Carl. (Pictured below)
